Dropkick Murphys
Live, Dropkick Murphys are a true force of nature. The Irish-American band was founded in Quincy, Massachusetts in 1996 and combines Irish folk and punk rock to create a unique tapestry of sound. Their infectious songs and passionate live performances have made them one of the most popular bands in their genre and ensure boiling halls and exuberant moods - a good time is guaranteed!

With their debut album Do or Die - which was produced by none other than Lars Frederiksen from Rancid - the Dropkick Murphys made their first strong statement. This was followed by further albums such as The Gang's All Here and Sing Loud, Sing Proud! which steadily increased their fan base. The real breakthrough came in 2005 with the album The Warrior's Code and the single I'm Shipping Up to Boston, which gained worldwide fame through the film Departed. The song became Boston's unofficial anthem and cemented the band's place in the musical Olympus.

The Dropkick Murphys are a must-see live. With a mixture of powerful guitar riffs, infectious melodies and the unbridled energy of the band members, they always manage to get the audience off their seats and create an unforgettable atmosphere.
