Ana Gabriel released her first album, Un Estilo, in 1985. She made her first television appearance in 1993 in the episode Come Fly with Me of the series Überflieger (original title: Wings), and her first film appearance was in the movie Bad Heat - Highway des Todes (The Nature of the Beast), which premiered in 1995. In 1999, she appeared once more in a feature film when she played a supporting role (also only a small one, as in her first feature film) in The Deep End of the Ocean alongside Michelle Pfeiffer, Treat Williams and Whoopi Goldberg. Otherwise, she only appeared in television series, of which the Mexican reality show ¡Ay, amor! broadcast in 2003 was her last contact with the film world. Ana Gabriel is primarily a singer and has released more than twenty music albums in the course of her career.
